Resources

The CSRS is located in 340E Shanks Hall, on the Upper Quad of Virginia Tech's Blacksburg campus. Designed for collaborative use, all of the CSRS's furniture is on wheels for easy mobilty. Tables may be pushed together, pulled apart, and the tabletops raised or lowered. The room can accomodate groups of up to twenty people comfortably. The CSRS's large windows allow in lots of sunlight to stimulate your mind! Contact us if you'd like to reserve the CSRS for your next meeting or research session.

Technology

The CSRS has an abundance of technology available for use by Department of English faculty and graduate students. Research groups can utilize our two plasma screens and Smartboard or our electronic whiteboard. We have tablet PCs and other computers, mini digital video recorders, and more. One of the most popular items in the center is the HP 500 Designjet poster printer, able to print photo-quality images as large as 36 by 46 inches.
